There is an excellent article written by Dr. Mercola on helpful strategies for managing the pain of hip osteodegenerative arthritis. The doctor offers some good suggestions:
Exercise: Contrary to popular belief, it’s especially important to get exercise if you have osteodegenerative arthritis and Dr Mercola suggests specific exercises to create greater flexibility.
Diet: A good diet is critical for reducing inflammation and promoting healthy bones and cartilage. I personally recommend a healthy organic vegetarian diet with lots of green leafy vegetables.
Ozone Therapy: Dr. Mercola gives reference to Dr. Robert Rowen, one of the leading ozone physicians in the United States, who has successfully treated many osteodegenerative arthritis patients with ozone therapy.
K-laser: He also mentions an infrared laser treatment (K-laser), which speeds healing by increasing tissue oxygenation and allowing injured cells to absorb photons of light. Apparently this has positive effects on the muscles, ligaments and bones, as well as stimulating the mitochondria to produce more ATP and accelerate healing.
Dr. Mercola provides a list of supplements which have been shown to be helpful for pain and inflammation of osteodegenerative arthritis, including; tumeric/curcumin, vitamin D, astaxanthin, hyaluronic acid (HA), Boswellia and Sulfur/Epsom salt soaks.
If You Have Hip Osteodegenerative Arthritis – Exercise, Diet, Ozone, Lazor and Supplements Are Not Enough
The advice Dr. Mercola gives is excellent – if you don’t have an obstacle getting in the way of these treatments being completely successful. That is, if you have an abnormal foot structure – either the Rothbarts Foot or PreClinical Clubfoot Deformity – following his advice will only produce limited results.
The Rothbarts Foot and PreClinical Clubfoot Deformity are a common cause of hip osteodegenerative arthritis and other chronic joint inflammations.
The reason this is so is because if you have one of these abnormal foot structures, your feet will abnormally pronate (twist) when you stand and walk. This twist creates a misalignment in all your weight bearing joints. When your joints are misaligned, over time they become inflamed. And they will stay inflamed until you correct the cause of the inflammation – your twisting feet.
If you’re tired of pain management and are seeking a permanent solution to your hip osteodegenerative arthritis, it’s time to take a look at your feet.
If you know someone who has osteodegenerative arthritis, share this post on Twitter and Facebook, spreading the good news that people don’t have to suffer a lifetime filled with chronic pain. It can be eliminated!
Reading the Curing Chronic Pain website will give you more information about the abnormal foot structures Professor/Dr. Rothbart discovered that cause many forms of chronic muscle and joint pain and help you determine whether an Initial Phone Consultation with him might be helpful.
