“According to the National Institutes of Health, 76.2 million (1 in 4) Americans have experienced chronic pain. And chronic pain plays a role in many mental health conditions.” According to a study published in the journal PLOS Medicine, this includes depression.
The results of this study showed that people in romantic relationships with partners who have depression, are more likely to experience chronic pain.
The author states that people with a family history of depression and those with partners who experience depression, experience chronic pain at “higher rates.” And that psychological distress may trigger pain, or trigger its’ worsening. For example, a stressed person might unconsciously tense muscle in their back, causing back pain.
Why – If You Have Chronic Pain and Depression – Your Family Members Will Often Have Chronic Pain And Depression
A large part of the world population has an abnormal foot structure, called the PreClinical Clubfoot Deformity, which predisposes them to chronic muscle and joint pain. The PreClinical Clubfoot Deformity is inherited – determined by your genes.
If both parents have a PreClinical Clubfoot Deformity and have four children; statistically, three or four of their children will have this abnormal foot structure. If one parent has a PreClinical Clubfoot Deformity and one doesn’t, statistically, two or more of their children will have this abnormal foot structure.
Since the PreClinical Clubfoot Deformity is a severe foot structure – which leaves many sufferers debilitated or completely disabled – having such a problem can make you feel depressed (to say the least). And if you live with someone who loves you (such as your partner or family) they’ll also feel deeply concerned and helpless to make things better.
The answer lies in education. Learn more about the PreClinical Clubfoot Deformity and then get the right help – an effective therapy which will eliminate your chronic pain. It’s amazing how depression lifts when you feel healthy and no longer hurt.
