Do you find that in addition to chronic muscle and joint pain, you also suffer with other chronic problems such as stomach and gut issues, bad memory, lack of concentration, or inability to get pregnant? If so, you’ll be delighted to hear that when your bad posture is permanently corrected, not only will your chronic musculoskeletal pain go away, but many of your visceral problems (problems in your internal organs) may also heal.
On this website, I’ve discussed my published findings spanning over 45 years of research, demonstrating the link between bad posture and the development of chronic muscle and joint pain. In my opinion, at this point these findings are irrefutable. But bad posture impacts not only your muscles and joints, but also your internal organs. I’ve found that when bad posture is permanently corrected, these visceral problems often heal as well.
How can bad posture displace the internal organs in your body? Here’s a funny yet true analogy:
Many years ago I owed a home in which the foundation of the house was unlevel. As a result the floor became warped. Just for laughs, I’d place a tennis ball on the kitchen floor and watch it roll on its own accord, all the way into my living room!
While this could be considered humorous in a house, it’s not quite as funny when it happens in your body. An unlevel (poor) posture will warp (displace) the internal organs in your body. Here are some common examples:
When your head is shifted forward, the vertebral arteries (one of the main blood conduits from your chest to the brain) are vulnerable to compression. This can create a condition called Cerebral hypoxia, which can result in aberrations in your mentation such as; short term memory loss, aggressive unsocial behavior, anxiety and depression.
A forward rotation of your hip bones can compress your small and large intestines. This compression may lead to symptoms typically attributed to Crohns Disease – belly pain, diarrhea, blood in the stool and G.I. dysfunction.
A common gynecological problem associated with the forward rotation of the hip bones is difficulty for a woman to get pregnant. This can happen because the forwardly rotated hips may compress the fallopian tubes, which prevents the egg from traveling from the ovaries to the uterus, where conception occurs.
Visceral Problems Often Heal When Your Posture Is Permanently Corrected
When your posture is permanently corrected, what’s the result on the above visceral problems? Let’s take a look:
Permanently correcting the posture moves a forward head back over the spine and so compression is taken off the vertebral arteries. The brain then receives an optimal blood flow and with this; short term memory loss, depression and other mentation problems go away.
One of the most common visceral improvements I see as the posture is permanently corrected; is the return of a healthy G.I. system. The hips are aligned back into their proper position and so compression is taken off the small and large intestines. The gut can then function without obstruction.
As far as the ability for women to conceive after their posture is permanently corrected: I’ve seen such incredible results, that I’ve often thought I should have gone into fertility medicine!
These are just a few examples of the many visceral improvements that can occur with permanent postural correction. If you suffer with chronic muscle and joint pain and find that you, too, have other problems that no one can seem to find a reason for, your visceral problems might be coming from your bad posture and can be healed when it is permanently corrected.
